As a member of the senior leadership team and independently you’ll create the strategy to move Vivup from a business that is famous for NHS and Public sector excellence to a company that has a clear place and purpose within the private sector.

You’ll develop existing relationships while identifying and nurturing new relationship that allow Vivup to maximize its return on investment and grow in the most efficient manner.

Who we’re looking for

Your main responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Full ownership of the go to market strategy across third party’s i.e., trade partners, benefits companies, and brokers
  • Responsibility for the creation of a clear commercial strategy to fulfill the needs of all clients across public and private sectors won directly and via trade partnerships
  • End to end management of the onboarding and then management of all trade and commercial partners from identifying opportunities, scoping feasibility, demonstrations and pitches, documentation, onboarding and then ongoing performance management support and profitability reviews
  • Identifying resource requirements to grow the functions in line with strategic priorities followed by ongoing recruitment and management of the trade partnership and commercial teams
  • Working with the Business Intelligence team ensure fit for purpose reporting is available to support ongoing management and growth of trade and commercial partners
  • Working with the Legal and Compliance team ensure that all methods, processes and documentation is fully complaint to meet the requirements of the FCA, ISO:27001, ISO:9001 the HMRC guidelines and all other relevant standards
  • Working with the wider business to ensure that the go to market position across the public and private sectors are aligned to that of the trade partnership and commercial teams
  • Identifying and then close the gaps in proposition that are needed to grow share across the public and private sector and delight our clients and their employees
  • Defining, maintaining, and enforcing a risk aware and compliant approach to selecting, communicating, and managing trade and commercial partners
  • Developing and driving the trade and commercial partner roadmap, including benefit communication plans, alongside the customer team to maximise partner, client, and employee engagement
  • Negotiating commission and contracts in line with internal due diligence procedures

A bit about you

You’ll already have demonstrable experience within an employee benefits company, trade partner or commercial management role.  In addition to this you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Expert level technical knowledge of employee benefits and the employee engagement market
  • Good understanding of employment taxation and compliance environment in which employee benefits sit
  • Expert level ability to network and negotiate at strategic levels with partner firms
  • Great ability to consult with trade and commercial partners and their clients across all benefits on their appropriateness, design, and rollout
  • Extensive relationships and network with other benefit providers and HR service organisations
  • Excellent communicator across written and spoken formats
  • Expert level stakeholder management both internally and externally with a tenacity to get things done
  • Experience in training and mentoring colleagues in the field of employee benefits
  • Ability to take responsibility for own continuing professional development and keep up to date by reading relevant journals, attending networking meetings and relevant courses.
  • Be a credible ambassador for the company when communicating with external organisations so that the Company’s reputation is maintained, and best interests served.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role as business needs require.
  • Adherence to the requirements laid down in Vivup’s Business Management System for ISO9001 and ISO27001 accreditation
