These are managed through our ecommerce team, part of the marketing department at Vivup.
To support the overall eCommerce strategy taking on the responsibility of implementing and maintaining all promotional banners, products, and recommended product ranges. Working closely with the merchandiser team to understand how customers interact with promotional and range activity to optimise or implement tactical activity as needed based on customer behaviour or product mix changes.
Principle duties to include:
Product management: Accurate and timely addition of products to the platform. Helping to manage stock/availability including pre-orders. Supporting with analysis required to track and report product performance including click through rate, add to basket, conversion, and sales. Manage promotional activity and ensure products are given the relevant tags and that these are kept up-to-date. Additionally to contribute to and maintain a product launch/category focus calendar with the eCommerce team.
Category management: Feeding into the reporting on category performance, product placement within relevant categories, maintaining and improving on the category structure, mapping categories as needed to drive a diverse range of products to our customers. Building and maintaining seasonal and ‘Merch’ categories to provide focus on product ranges.
Search: Reporting on popular search terms including failed search terms to identify issues or gaps in range. Ensuring that products contain the correct information to ensure their relevant inclusion in search results.
Projects/technical: Support with testing new functionality, feed into projects relating to streamlining e-commerce processes, contribute ideas for changes to improve user experience and customer journey.
Website banners: Implement campaign promotional banners across out client portals, and maintain these through regular audits and reviews. Understand customer engagement to banners through reporting on performance.
Margin monitoring/protection: Regularly monitor discount and margin on key ranges to ensure acceptable margin is being reached.
Stock management: Support in the maintenance of key line stock to ensure we always have popular/constraint products available to our customer where possible.
Supplier relationships: Responsibility for running daily reports and distributing to relevant external suppliers. Support with product insight, run rate and additional supplier reporting as required.
- Degree level education preferrable
- A strong passion for retail and ecommerce
- IT literate with strong numerical skills
